The Drain Blaster

Since it was Friday night, John and I decided it was high time we do something fun and entertaining. Also, our kitchen sink was very, very clogged. Our handy man wasn't able to fix it. John was hoping he could do it himself. His optimism is endearing.

Behold, The Drain Blaster.....

This was after using maximum strength draino and a sink auger. I also endured having a plunger used in the sink by the handy man earlier today. The floor has flooded, grossness is everywhere. Sigh.....

John David's 10th Birthday Videos

Video of singing Happy Birthday and then getting birthday spankings:
(Please excuse my horrendous accent that has apparently only grown since moving out of Texas.)

Video of the treasure hunt part 1:
(If you have motion sickness go pop some Dramamine before watching.)

Video of the treasure hunt part 2:
(this is the last clue leading up to going out to the garage to find his "loot")

Video of the end of the treasure hunt and John David dueling against Darth Daddy:
(It was dark outside, but you can still see good enough. You should know that John's knee has been injured - he'll have surgery next month - so this was quite a sacrifice on his part to be Darth. I had decided we just wouldn't be able to do it and he said at the last minute that he could pull it off. Towards the beginning of the video one of the little boys was going to town kicking John's leg. Kinda funny, but Darth had to whack him on the head with his light saber to make him stop! Ha!)

John David's Dino Movie

No matter where I put my Flip camera, John David finds it and makes videos. You usually need some Dramamine to watch them but they (usually) make me laugh.

First off there's the "sneak peek" and then there's the actual movie.....

The Girls Sing and a Snippet of the Christmas Program

We're so excited here at our house that Christmas is only 7 days away! After school today, Julia decided to throw a birthday party for Jesus with Aulora since Aulora didn't get to have a school party. They put stuffed animals in all the chairs and set out treats and decorations. They even had a goody bag ready in the corner. I heard them from upstairs and Julia was leading Aulora in singing the birthday song. Too cute! I had them do it again for the camera. You'll see in the video that Aulora was a little busy enjoying her treat to sing again.

The school program was last night. It was very sweet and the kids were pumped about the night. I tried to take more video but I had a little too much help from Mr. Joshua. Enjoy. =)
