Poor little man has strep throat. He and Aulora had doctor appointments today that were going to be for shots, but since he was sick those were delayed. Hopefully, his medicine will kick in fast because he's been feeling really bad since yesterday morning. =(
My heart skipped a couple of beats as the doctor was checking Aulora. She's had a cough lately and it's been in her chest. He listened a little too long for my liking and then was asking questions about asthma and allergies. He began to firmly pat her back repeatedly - a motion I'm familiar with because my older sister, who died of cystic fibrosis, had to have her back patted that same way several times a day. When he realized cf was in our family he went back to listening and thinking. He ended up prescribing a cough medicine that should clear it up but we're supposed to take her back if it doesn't work. Why do doctors do that? It's just mean to all us mommas.
aww ill be praying for Aulora and Josh
