Another Tooth from our Little Aggie Terrorist

On Saturday night, John and I went out to eat and to a play while the kids stayed home with one of our teenagers. It was wonderful to spend some very much needed time together having fun. While we were out, John David lost his second tooth. When we got back home, we exchanged his tooth with a letter from the tooth fairy and $4.00. He was very excited the next morning when he came to wake us up. We always use the tooth fairy letters to share a little wisdome or to gently reprimand him in some way. It is always well received from the tooth fairy! His letter this time praised him for taking such great care of his teeth and thanking him for the little tooth under his pillow. It then reminded him to be kind to his little sister and to remember to study his JBQ questions. When he read that, he wanted to know if the letter was in ink. He wanted to change what it said! He's a funny guy.

All the money John David is earning currently is being saved up to give to another boy at church. Last Sunday night, while at JBQ, John David took this boy's brand new hat and wrote big red x's all over it - all because it was a Texas Longhorn hat!!! He's such a little Aggie fan because that's what Daddy is. We had quite the talk with him and he apologized to the boy. I felt so bad! Anyhow, this hat was just bought and it cost $22! So far, John David has $14 saved up.....
